  • Must own or have legal right to list property
  • Provide accurate descriptions and photos
  • Comply with local laws and regulations
  • Maintain property standards and cleanliness

Payments & Fees

Payment processing, fees, and financial terms

  • Secure payment processing through verified partners
  • Service fees apply to all bookings
  • Host payouts processed after guest check-in
  • Dispute resolution for payment issues

3. User Responsibilities

Guest Responsibilities

  • • Provide accurate personal and booking information
  • • Respect property rules and local regulations
  • • Report any issues or damages immediately
  • • Leave properties in good condition
  • • Pay all fees and charges as agreed
  • • Communicate respectfully with hosts

Host Responsibilities

  • • Provide accurate property descriptions
  • • Maintain properties to advertised standards
  • • Comply with local laws and safety requirements
  • • Respond to guest inquiries promptly
  • • Honor confirmed bookings and cancellation policies
  • • Treat all guests fairly and without discrimination

4. Prohibited Activities

Strictly Prohibited

The following activities are strictly prohibited and may result in account termination:

Creating false or misleading property listings
Using the platform for illegal activities
Discriminating against guests based on protected characteristics
Circumventing FaceBalkan's payment system
Posting inappropriate or offensive content
Impersonating other users or entities
Violating intellectual property rights
Engaging in fraudulent or deceptive practices

5. Booking Terms and Cancellations

Booking Process

When you make a booking request, it is subject to the host's acceptance. Payment is processed once the booking is confirmed. All bookings are governed by the individual property's terms and cancellation policy.

  • • Check-in details are provided 24 hours before arrival
  • • Modifications subject to host approval and availability

Flexible

Full refund 24 hours before check-in

Moderate

Full refund 5 days before check-in

Strict

50% refund before 14 days, no refund after

6. Payment Terms and Fees

Service Fees

Guest Service Fee

3-5% of booking subtotal + applicable taxes

Host Service Fee

3% of booking subtotal (deducted from payout)

Payment Processing

  • • Payments processed securely through our payment partners
  • • Host payouts released 24 hours after guest check-in
  • • Refunds processed within 5-10 business days
  • • All fees are clearly displayed before booking confirmation

7. Liability and Disclaimers

FaceBalkan acts as a platform connecting guests and hosts. We do not own, operate, or control any properties listed on our platform.

  • • Hosts are solely responsible for their properties and interactions with guests
  • • Guests assume responsibility for their safety and belongings during stays
  • • We provide customer support but are not liable for host-guest disputes
  • • Property damages, injuries, or losses are matters between hosts and guests
  • • We recommend appropriate insurance coverage for all parties

8. Intellectual Property Rights

The FaceBalkan platform, including its design, features, and content, is protected by intellectual property laws. Users retain rights to their own content but grant us license to use it as necessary for platform operation.

10. Account Termination

Grounds for Termination

  • • Repeated policy violations
  • • Failure to pay fees or charges
  • • Safety concerns or risks to community

Termination Process

  • • Warning notices for minor violations
  • • Opportunity to appeal termination decisions
  • • Immediate termination for serious violations
  • • Data retention as per Privacy Policy
  • • Outstanding obligations remain valid
  • • New account creation prohibited

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Significant changes will be communicated via email or platform notification. Continued use of the Service after changes constitute acceptance of the new Terms.
